WORLD VIEW
The Golden Rule, also known as the Ethic of
Reciprocity, is an almost universal moral code. It is
found in most religions, most cultures and most
secular philosophies. The first reference to a Golden
Rule doctrine is thought to have originated in ancient
Egypt circa 1970-1640 BCE, making it a principle in
practice for over 4,000 years.
It is a message which calls for unity within diversity,
peace not war, worldwide understanding, forgiveness
and reconciliation.
